Alp Kuka was born in Prizren, Kosovo. He began to study classical piano at a young age. Finished his primary and high school education at Lorenc Antoni Prizren with great success. Later he finished his Bachelors and Masters studies for Pop and Jazz Piano at National Music Academy “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov” Sofia, Bulgaria. Alp has been part of many important competitions, events and concerts in Germany, Italy, Albania and Kosovo. 

PRIZES: 

-Spectrum Concerts Berlin (Ein abend für Kosovo) 

He was selected during the „Berlin Auditions 2015″ as one of six young Kosovan musicians to participate in the project (concert) „,Ein Abend für Kosovo” at Berliner Philharmoniker Kammermusiksaal from April 23 to 30, 2016. 

-MUSICAINSIEME 

He was chosen during a masterclass in Prizren, Kosovo to participate in the project (concert) „,MUSICAINSIEME”, in Santa Sofia, Italy. 

Chopin Piano Fest 

He played piano in Chopin piano fest held in Prishtina, Kosovo.

He played piano in 6th edition of national festival “The Young Pianist” in Prishtina, Kosovo.

He participated in 9th edition of Pianist i ri 2016 and was awarded with 1st Place in piano competition.

After his attendance in Pianist i ri 2016 festival he was awarded with Fahri Beciri Prize by compositor Fahri Beciri. 

– MINISTRY OF EDUCATION, SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY 

He was awarded with a small prize as a thank you by the Government of Kosovo and Office of the General 

Secretary for representation of our country in Berlin, Germany. He also had the honor of visiting Governor of Berlin in Bellevue Palace. 

Alp Kuka also has been part of many concerts be it solo be it with big band and orchestra of University in Plovdiv, Varna and Sofia Bulgaria.
