Ekspertët diskutojnë inovacionet në nutricion dhe agrikulturë në Konferencën Ndërkombëtare të Shkencave të Ushqimit, Nutricionit dhe Agrikulturës në UBT

UBT organizoi me sukses Konferencën Ndërkombëtare të Shkencave të Ushqimit, Nutricionit dhe Agrikulturës, duke mirëpritur një numër të madh studiuesish, profesorësh dhe studentësh nga vende të ndryshme. Ky aktivitet shkencor mblodhi së bashku ekspertë vendorë dhe ndërkombëtarë, të cilët prezantuan studimet e tyre dhe diskutuan temat më të fundit në fushat përkatëse.

 

Në sesionin e parë, i cili u drejtua nga Violeta Lajqi Makolli dhe Ismet Babaj, prezantimi kryesor u mbajt nga Prof. Gülnur Arabaci nga Turqia, e cila foli për rëndësinë e shkencës së ushqimit dhe nutricionit në kontekstin global. Më pas, Dekani i Fakultetit të Shkencave të Ushqimit në UBT, Fidan Feka, prezantoi mbi zhvillimet më të fundit në këto fusha.

Prezantimet kryesore përfshinë vlerësimin e varieteteve të reja të mollëve në Kosovën Perëndimore, ku u përmendën rezultatet e rëndësishme të arritura nga Maxhun Shehaj dhe kolegët e tij. Gjithashtu, studimet mbi përbërësit kimikë të salsiçeve tradicionale të Prizrenit, dhe menaxhimi i cilësisë së brumit në gastronominë amerikane, u trajtuan nga studiuesit Xhavit Bytyçi dhe Arianeta Nura.

• “Quality Management and Dough Processing in Gastronomy (Pizzeria), in New Jersey USA” – Arianeta Nura, Fiona Prapashtica and Lulzim Krasniqi;
• “Investigating the Virulence of some Plasmopara halstedii Isolates in Hungary” – Arbnora Berisha, Rita Bán and Kaltrina Berisha.

Në sesionet pasuese, u diskutuan tema të ndryshme si ndikimi i metaleve në enzimat e polyphenolit në bimët Salix alba, sfidat institucionale të sigurisë ushqimore në Kosovë, dhe avantazhet e sistemit të agro-pyjeve.

Gjatë sesioneve të pasdites, pjesëmarrësit trajtuan çështje të rëndësishme të tilla si cilësia dhe siguria e lëngjeve të frutave dhe praktikat e qytetarëve të Kosovës për konsumimin e jogurtit të sigurt. Një nga prezantimet më të spikatura ishte ajo që trajtonte ndikimin e pijeve energjike në shëndetin e fëmijëve, e cila nxiti diskutime të gjera.

Konferenca përfundoi me një sesion posteri, ku studiuesit prezantuan rezultatet e tyre të fundit mbi riciklimin e plastikës, analizën kimike të lëngjeve të frutave të freskëta dhe përmirësimin e cilësisë së kulturave bujqësore përmes teknologjisë CRISPR/Cas9. Kjo konferencë jo vetëm që ofroi një platformë të shkëlqyer për shkëmbimin e ideve, por gjithashtu nënvizoi rëndësinë e hulumtimeve shkencore në përmirësimin e sektorit të ushqimit, nutricionit dhe agrikulturës në nivel global dhe lokal.
