UBT supported the competition “Innovation and Problem Solving” of Embassy of Finland in Kosovo

“Doodling at Pjeter Bogdani” of the students of this school is the winning project of the competition “Innovation and Problem Solving”, organized by the Embassy of Finland in Kosovo, supported by UBT.

 

The winning team is a group of enthusiastic youngsters who, by beautifying the walls with different designs, plan to turn their school into a more pleasant environment for all students.

 

“Doodling at Pjeter Bogdani”, along with four other projects of young Kosovars, “Solving the landfill problem in Kosovo by building a waste-to-energy plant”, “Better Me – Mental Health Application”, “Proposal for Traffic Lights in Peja ” and “Vertical Gardens”, were evaluated by a professional jury, part of which was the rector of UBT, prof. dr. Edmond Hajrizi.

 

Rector Hajrizi said that the young people of Kosovo are constantly evolving the spirit of innovation and are bringing new things, and while evaluating the projects participating in this competition, he advised youngsters to work even more in concretizing their ideas.

 

UBT is constantly supporting local and international institutions to foster innovation development in our country, but also to directly support young enthusiasts in their projects.
