UBT ranked sixth in the world for fourth industrial revolution by WURI

The Rector of UBT, Prof. Dr. Edmond Hajrizi, through a press conference, announced that UBT was ranked sixth in the world by World’s Universities with Real Impact (WURI 2022), in the ranking for the fourth industrial revolution, thus marking another success of Kosovo in the international field in the field of education and education.

Rector Hajrizi, showed that the achievements of UBT in the field of education, science and technology have resulted in raising the position of this higher education institution to sixth place in WURI 2022, and placing Kosovo on the map of the most prestigious universities in the world.

“This is another achievement of UBT, ranking in sixth place in a global organization such as WURI, which deals mainly with evaluating and ranking universities in view of their impact. Considering that UBT has now entered a phase with over 20 years of experience, we have started to position ourselves in the comparison part with other institutions around the world and we are very proud that today we have very good results, placing Kosovo on the map of the most prestigious universities in the world” said Rector Hajrizi.

Among other things, Rector Hajrizi showed that UBT is working every day to provide young people in Kosovo and beyond to offer the most modern conditions and quality education, through an innovative ecosystem, which will continue to be based on entrepreneurship and innovation.

“It requires the role of the university to be more active, more entrepreneurial, more innovative, not in the classic form of education, research, but rather a kind of ecosystem, and we have understood that role. UBT is an institution based on entrepreneurship and innovation, and is continuing to reflect on these kinds of transformations and become part of the world leadership with new university models” said Rector Hajrizi.

UBT’s success in WURI 2022 follows the ranking among the best universities in the world by Times Higher Education, thus becoming the most successful institution in the region, but also raising Kosovo’s representation level in the international arena.
