UBT opens its branch in London, further expanding its global network
27/01/2025In a special ceremony attended by the Rector of UBT, Prof. Dr. Edmond Hajrizi, the Ambassador of Kosovo to Great Britain, Ilir Kapiti, Deputy Ambassador Vlorat Gashi, representatives from the diaspora, friends, family, partners, and distinguished academics, UBT officially commenced operations at its innovative center, Global UBT London.
Rector Hajrizi emphasized that the opening of UBT in London, near Financial and Global Institutions in Canary Wharf, demonstrates UBT’s commitment to engaging at a global level, as the values, products, and services that UBT has developed are not only accessible to Kosovo but also represent added value for the global market.
Through London, as a global center, both Kosovo and the Western Balkans are supported in connecting with businesses, implementing projects, and creating new jobs, thereby enhancing development, he added.
“The values, products, and services that UBT has developed over the years are not limited to Kosovo but constitute added value for the global market. Through London, as one of the main global centers, we aim to strengthen connections with businesses, realize new projects, and generate new jobs, thus impacting the economic and social development of Kosovo and the Western Balkans,” stated Rector Hajrizi.
Ambassador Kapiti praised the opening of this center as an important step in strengthening academic and professional relations between Kosovo and Great Britain and expressed readiness for cooperation and support.
The UBT model, as an innovative ecosystem for developing competencies and new projects, through a new and revolutionary approach to education, science, technology, and business, is sought after by various countries.
A clear indication of this is the opening of UBT centers now in other parts of the world, as well as the global collaboration that UBT currently has with most developed and prospective countries worldwide.
