UBT makes Kosovo a special gift on Liberation Day: Ranked among the best in Times Higher Education Impact Ranking
12/06/2024Times Higher Education has published the 2024 ranking of universities in the Impact Ranking category. In this international ranking which measures and evaluates the work and engagement of universities in relation to sustainable development in general and in relation to addressing the UN Sustainable Development Goals in particular, UBT is ranked among 300-400 universities with the greatest impact in a range of categories.
In this way, UBT is ranked among the Top 300-400 universities in the world in SDG 1 – Fighting Poverty; SDG 2 – Policies against Hunger SDG 6 – In clean water and wastewater treatment policies, while ranked among the Top 400-600 universities with the largest impact in SDG 9 – Industrial Innovation and Infrastructure, as well as among the 400-600 universities with the largest impact in SDG 11 – For Sustainable Cities and Communities.
In each other category of addressing SDGs, UBT is ranked among the world’s top universities, thus proving the importance it gives to meeting the global sustainable development goals.
This next ranking of UBT, besides continuing to advance the name of the Republic of Kosovo in the most prestigious instances of international rankings, it simultaneously testifies to the commitment and consistency of the institution in creating a sustainable scientific, economic, environmental, infrastructure and innovative environment by addressing and promoting all dimensions and areas of sustainable development.
