UBT is ranked as the only private higher education institution across Albanian territories in SCImago
13/03/2024The global ranking of prestigious universities, SCImago, has ranked UBT as the best and the only private higher education institution across Albanian territories.
UBT has consistently been a role model institution that has significantly contributed to Kosovo’s image worldwide. This time, compared to many prestigious universities globally, UBT is the only non-public institution across Albanian territories ranked among universities in the SCImago university ranking, making it the most successful institution in the region and elevating Kosovo’s representation on the international stage.
The Rector of UBT, Prof. Dr. Edmond Hajrizi, stated that this achievement demonstrates the quality and the best model of the educational institution that UBT has built over the years.
“We have managed to build an ecosystem that encompasses all fields. For the integration of all fields, from technology to social sciences, UBT has been ranked and listed among prestigious international organizations and institutions. UBT’s ranking in Scimago demonstrates our joint commitment towards transforming education in Kosovo and the region. The fact that UBT is the only private higher education institution in Kosovo, Albania, and beyond, ranked in Scimago, speaks to the quality and the best model of the educational institution that UBT has built over the years,” stated Rector Hajrizi.
In addition to this, UBT has achieved other remarkable successes in the field of research and scientific inquiries. It’s worth mentioning that UBT has been ranked alongside prestigious universities in WURI, GreenMetric World University Ranking, Webometrics, EFQM, and has been honored with prestigious awards such as “European Young Entrepreneurial University of the Year.”
