In a world characterized by growing complexity, the Center for Modeling and Simulation facilitates decision-making by fostering a deeper understanding of systematic relationships, exploring relevant scenarios, and identifying optimal solutions.
The Center for Modeling and Simulation at UBT aims to advance the theory and practice of modeling and simulation by offering a wide range of multidisciplinary expertise including technical sciences, mathematics, information systems, social sciences and areas of application such as healthcare. Center for Modeling and Simulation has capabilities in discrete-event simulation, agent-based simulation, systems dynamics, distributed simulation, continuous simulation, monte carlo simulation and hybrid approaches. Our support also consists in developing specific (if possible, mathematical) models of the decision-making situation. These will then serve either as a laboratory environment for evaluating optimal solutions or as a basis for mathematical optimization.
