UBT brought to an end the Global Week of Entrepreneurship
20/11/2018A large number of school directors, entrepreneurs, innovators who have been former UBT students, as well as professors from the most renowned universities have actively participated in this activity.
Actually, this is the prospect of many former UBT students.
The broad scope of those successes was presented during the Global Week of Entrepreneurship. In the framework of this activity named “The Evening of Entrepreneurial Alumni”. During this activity many of the former UBT students who are recently outstanding entrepreneurs of Kosovo have shared with their mates their success stories, such as Hana Qerimi, Florian Piraj, and Bekim Maloku.
The head of UBT Career Center Halil Bashota claimed that UBT has founded this center to create the students with better opportunities as far as the labor market is concerned. The UBT Career Center has fostered the employment of hundreds of students.
“The UBT Career Center helps and advises the youngsters about the labor market and is in itself a mediator between academy and labor market. In Moreover it strongly aids them to start on a professional practices and internships”, underlined Bashota.
The first who revealed his success story was the former UBT student Bekim Maloku who is the founder of “Melosi” company.
The brought back his personal memories about the right steps which ought to be taken in order to set up a business and as matter of a fact become a successful entrepreneur.
Undoubtedly Hana Qerimi is among the most successful former UBT students. Being highly nostalgic for her past she revealed in details her success story in front of the newly enrolled UBT students. In addition, she emphasized that it was a very special emotion to come back as an entrepreneur in your country.
Needless to say, 3D printers are one of the most outstanding innovations of the modern world. One of them has been brought to UBT thanks to former student Florian Piraj, who is a co-founder of “Formon” company. During his presentation he gave information about “Formon” and the way how 3D printers operate.
During the Global of Entrepreneurship UBT carried out a wide range of activities which brought together numerous experts, professors, and representatives from several organizations as well as a large number of entrepreneurs. Altogether they conveyed a message about the importance of entrepreneurship in the economic development of a country.
