UBT again ranked first in Webometrics Ranking
30/01/2025In the Webometrics ranking, UBT has once again demonstrated its leadership as the best private higher education institution in Kosovo and beyond.
This ranking of UBT not only reflects the institution’s ongoing progress but also confirms its commitment to enhancing academic quality and increasing scientific research.
The continuous and significant growth in the number of citations of staff publications is an indicator of the institution’s serious approach to science and its societal impact on one hand, as well as the quality of the staff’s scientific papers and publications on the other—always supported by research infrastructure and institutional backing for the latter.
The “Webometrics” ranking is published every six months by the “Cybermetrics Lab,” a unit of the Spanish National Research Council, which analyzes thousands of higher education institutions worldwide using a range of criteria, including academic transparency and the impact of scientific papers.
In recent years, UBT has been ranked as the best institution not only in Kosovo but also in many areas such as technology, innovation, quality, generative artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship, and scientific publications, according to evaluations from renowned global organizations, thus making a special contribution to Kosovo’s presence in the world.
