The UBT students visited the highway “Ibrahim Rrugova”
16/01/2019The UBT students from the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Infrastructure realized a study visit to the highway “Ibrahim Rrugova”, respectively to the Arllat-Suharekë axis. They availed from the occasion to analyze and have a closer look at the equipment, focusing in the signaling system of this highway, as well as to other components regarding the assurance of road safety.
During the study visit, the students were accompanied by their professor, Nol Dedaj, and have identified some of the road segments that pose a potential risk to traffic accidents, including the lack the proper maintenance of wells concerned with the circulation of water, because of being covered by waste, absence of lids, some of the warning or risk signs are not placed in the adequate places, and also the vertical signaling is not set according to European standards.
In the framework of this subject, there have been continuously carried out similar visits, in order to coordinate the theoretical and practical part of the studies.
