Editing images

Aim of this training:

This module equips users with an understanding of the key concepts that underline the digital imagery and basic skills needed for it used an application (Photoshop) for image editing, zooming of images, applying effects, preparing an image for impression and publication. Explaining the specific bases and conditions of use, image editing involves the practical skills needed to make use of image editing app.

ECDL / ICDL image modification proves that a candidate is able to:

• Understand the key concepts of using digital images, graphic formatting options and color concepts
• Open an existing image, save an image in different formats, and set the image options
• Uses options such as displaying tools and pallets to increase productivity
• Capture and save an image, use different image selection and editing tools
• Create and use layers, work with text, use effects and filters and tools for drawing and painting

• Prepare images for printing or publishing
