Admission

College UBT has a clearly defined, comprehensive, and well-published set of requirements and criteria for admission to the MBE study program. The admission process adheres to the relevant national regulations, such as Article 29 of the Law on Higher Education in Kosovo and the internal rules established by the Faculty Council.

National Requirements:

  • For domestic students, applicants must have successfully completed secondary education and passed the Matura Exam. The admission process is initiated through a public call, and students are required to submit a set of documents, including their secondary education diploma, for review. The Faculty Council evaluates candidates based on specific criteria, such as Grade Point Average (GPA) over 3 and Matura exam.
  • For international students, the process requires recognition and equivalency of their secondary education diplomas through the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology, and Innovation of Kosovo. This ensures that international applicants meet the national education standards before they can apply.

Additional Admission Criteria:

  • For students coming from international education systems, such as those with U.S.-recognized diplomas, there is a procedure for the equivalency of GPA to match Kosovo’s grading system. This ensures fairness and consistency in the admission of students from diverse educational backgrounds.
  • The admission criteria are the completion of secondary education, GPA according to the Kosovo system, and successful passing of the Matura exam.
