Rector Hajrizi spoke about AR and VR technologies at the EdTech 2023 Conference
30/10/2023The Rector of UBT, Prof. Dr. Edmond Hajrizi, participated as a speaker at the EdTech 2023 Conference, organized by SHPIK and the Pedagogical Institute of Kosovo.
Rector Hajrizi presented his innovative ideas and concepts, along with those of the institution he leads, regarding the limitless opportunities of AR and VR technologies, showing how they are reshaping traditional classrooms into inclusive, interactive, and engaging learning environments.
He provided examples of the implementation of these technologies at UBT, where students advance their knowledge by using sophisticated technologies, through AR, VR, and AI.
Among other points, Rector Hajrizi emphasized that UBT is making a special contribution to the adaptation of virtual technologies for students and teachers in schools across the Republic of Kosovo. Recently, UBT, in collaboration with ALLED2, equipped six public schools with this type of technology, increasing the number to 600 students who will learn using this technology.
