Rector Hajrizi presents the latest innovative projects of UBT Smart City in Rome, where artificial intelligence is assisting humans for higher quality education, as well as for the identification and prevention of diseases

The Rector of UBT, Prof. Dr. Edmond Hajrizi, is participating in the 16th ENSA Forum – the Network of European Universities for Sports Sciences, at the invitation of the President of the Association for Education in Sports Sciences, Prof. Antonio Tessitore.

Rector Hajrizi presented several innovative projects being developed at UBT, in collaboration with well-known international partners, regarding the use of artificial intelligence for education, health analyses, and the treatment of aging.

To solve today’s complex problems, it is essential for people to interact with technology. UBT Smart City, as an innovative, intelligent, and self-sustaining ecosystem, presents a real laboratory for complex issues and convergence, testing in real-time with the most contemporary technologies, including artificial intelligence, to improve the quality of life and the environment in general.

UBT is the first complete smart city model in Kosovo and the region, and one of the first in the world. The model, conceived and developed by Rector Hajrizi and his team, has garnered significant interest and appreciation worldwide.

Rector Hajrizi has been invited to more than twenty countries around the world to present the ideas and model of UBT, which has so far received awards and rankings in Europe and globally for innovation, technology, excellence, entrepreneurship, education, and sustainable development.

UBT Smart City, which represents the interconnection of modern technologies, people from all generations, and infrastructure with the functions of a smart city, confirms how life is lived in a modern and intelligent city, where citizens’ essential needs are met within a ten-minute walking distance.
