Rector Hajrizi participated in the International Conference on Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Development in Varna, Bulgaria
04/09/2024The Rector of UBT, Prof. Dr. Edmond Hajrizi, attended the 12th edition of the International Conference “Empowerment Entrepreneurship: How Entrepreneurs & Stakeholders Can Build a Sustainable Future,” organized by the Institute of Entrepreneurship at the Faculty of Business at the University of National and World Economy (UNWE), held in Varna, Bulgaria.
At this prestigious conference, which featured renowned scholars and entrepreneurs from around the world, Rector Hajrizi presented the topic “UBT Smart City – The Convergence Platform for Entrepreneurial Education; Research and Innovation Based Ecosystem.”
He outlined how UBT has created a research and innovation-based ecosystem that supports entrepreneurial education and the sustainable development of smart cities. According to him, this platform represents a powerful synergy between education and the practical application of innovative ideas in service of the community and the economy.
The mission of this conference was to bring together professionals in the field of entrepreneurship from research, teaching, practice, and policy to exchange views, discuss challenges and best practices in management and entrepreneurship, with the aim of addressing the challenges of sustainable development in a rapidly changing world.
