Rector Hajrizi participated in the debate on the Law on Higher Education

The Rector of the UBT, Prof. Dr. Edmond Hajrizi has participated in the debate on the Law on Higher Education and the one on Regulated Professions with the representatives of the Private Institutions of Higher Education, organized by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology of the Republic Kosovo.

Also present at the debate was the Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Arsim Bajrami, who has stressed that the main goal of this debate is that the new Law on Higher Education to be a law that may abide to time.

“The Law on Higher Education has four main goals: to set the standards of the public higher education, to set the standards of the private higher education, to create the basis for public-private partnership and to create the conditions for the operation of the international institutions of higher education in Kosovo”, stressed Minister Bajrami.

 

The Rector of the UBT, Prof. Dr. Edmond Hajrizi is part of the team of Experts on the Reform of Higher Education in Kosovo (ERAL), elected by the European Commission.
