Rector Hajrizi Attends Debate on Role of Statistics

UBT Rector Prof. Dr. Edmond Hajrizi, who is at the same time chairman of the Statistical Council, has participated in a discussion on the importance of the statistics, organized by the Embassy of Sweden, the Kosovo Statistical Agency, and the Swedish Statistics International Cooperation.

Pernilla Tragardh, Director of the International Cooperation at the Statistics of Sweden, Thomas Kielson, a representative of the same agency, Isa Krasniqi, chief executive of the Kosovar Statistical Agency, Stefan Lundgren, general director of the Swedish Statistics, and others, contributed to the debate with their comments. 

 

The panelists treated different aspects pertaining to the role and importance of statistics in our country, with a special focus on the prospects of learning from the Swedish experience, as the institutions of this country have offered their generous support.
