Professor Jorge Isidoro held a thematic lecture for FIN students

Jorge Isidiro who is currently a professor at University of Algarve in Portugal, has given a lecture for the students from the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Infrastructure with the topic: “Urban Hydrology and Floods in Urban Areas”.

 

During this lecture, he clarified the role and importance of hydrology and hydrological models, prioritizing and avoiding flooding.

 

Professor Isidoro explained aspects of hydrological modeling for the protection of urban areas and other important issues that should be considered during the planning and construction stage in urban areas.

 

This lecture was held in order to develop, advance and enhance the quality of studies and knowledge for master level students.
