Leibovich Avital holds a thematic lecture in UBT
31/10/2018It’s her first time to come in Kosovo for the the head of Jewish Community in Jerusalem Leibovich Avital and she chose UBT to give a thematic lecture.
The topic she elaborated was concerned with “The Strategic Challenges of Israel” and evoked a keen interest on students who were not only informed about the challenges of Israel, but even of the states which surrender it. The main focus of this lecture was concerned with the struggles against terrorism.
The UBT Rector prof. dr. Edmond Hajrizi underlined that it is of significant importance for students to acquire information about such topics, particularly from professionals.
“The world we live in is coping with numerous problems and we are continuously coping with contradictory data. As a result, it is essential for students to imbibe information from competent persons who are responsible for what they transmit which is also scientifically proven”, emphasized Hajrizi.
The head of Jewish Committee Avital Leiboch claimed that not Israel, but the whole world is facing challenges, which have much in common to each other. According to her, it’s essential to provide help for the countries which are suffering from ongoing crises.
