Participants who will be able to participate in this training are teachers, quality coordinators and administrative staff from Primary and Lower Secondary School, and High School. Participants will benefit from this training program because they will gain valuable knowledge about Child Abuse and will be challenged to identify signs of abuse in their students, as well as understand their role in reporting and protecting children / students. This program has a duration of 30 academic hours, where the distribution of hours is as follows:

Upon completion of the training teachers will be able to:
– understand in more detail about child abuse and its types
– distinguish the elements and signs of abuse in children
– are trained in preventive methods of child abuse
– gain knowledge about the severe psychological consequences of child abuse
– understand their important and delicate role in supporting students
– Learn about the child abuse reporting system
– acquire new skills to support and protect students who have experienced ill-treatment
