UBT is the only institution in the world which succeeded to create more 20 thousand only courses in virtual reality within two months
08/06/2020UBT has been recently involved in the rank list of the most remarkable universities and is serving as a model institution in the development of technological innovations. Consequently, it has been recognized as the largest international center around the globe regarding transfer of knowledge, which is primarily based on virtual reality.
In addition, there has been dedicated an article, which puts a particular emphasis on UBT initiative for the development of this curriculum, which was published by the technological giant “EON Reality”. Due to the fact, it is highly evaluated how an institution from Kosovo, the only one in the world, succeeded to create 20,000 lessons in 141 university courses, which include over 20 different academic programs. Obviously, for the first time in the world, there were thousands of UBT students who benefited from AVR (Augmented Virtual Reality) lessons, which include more than 120,000 things created by the platform, ranging from architecture and engineering, up to advanced math, as well as numerous art-related topics, such as conceptual photography and studio design.
Despite the fact, the article also underscores that users around the world, including members of the EON Reality global network, have the opportunity to benefit from and receive recommendations from the success of one of the best international virtual reality centers, in this case the Virtual Reality Center which has been lately implemented by UBT.
In this article, the founder of EON reality, Dan Lejerskar, has implied that this success of UBT has had a great impact on the academy, and that this platform will be expanded and implemented by other institutions as well.
”Furthermore the recent creation of these innovative courses, proves that the AVR Platform has been a great success for students and teachers around the world. I am delighted to see where we can go with this in the future, and I believe the benefit of the AVR Platform will only expand as the world becomes more comfortable with learning and working from a distance. Indeed, this is just the beginning, and it is already having a great impact on the academy, “he noted. Meanwhile, UBT Rector Prof. Dr. Edmond Hajrizi, highlighted that the virtual reality has brought forth a rapid evolution worldwide, which UBT initially brought as a project, and then successfully implemented in teaching process.
“Through UBT, Kosovo has played an important role and as matter of a fact has brought above a global impact on the technologies of the future in education. We are delighted to have implemented such a project with the potential to a further growth. We have managed to integrate virtual reality in our present. However, over the next years we are expecting to have even more technological developments as far as the VR is concerned “, stressed Hajrizi.
Apart from, bringing forth the latest technological innovations, UBT has also managed to establish a partnership with the technology giant, EON Reality. As a result, last year there were invested millions of dollars regarding the full implementation of this highly innovative project.
