Within the framework of broadening the partnerships with other institutions UBT has signed a collaboration agreement with the municipality of Prizren

Due to the fact that institution is aiming to raise institutional capacities and at the same time to provide professional expertise in carrying out projects in a variety of fields, this has led UBT to sign a collaboration agreement with the municipality of Prizren.

 

Consequently, the agreement has been signed by UBT Rector prof.dr Edmond Hajrizi, and head of this municipality Mytaher Haskuka. Besides that, in this visit also took part the Head of Urban Studies at UBT Shqiprim Ahmeti as well as head of Urbanization sector of Prizren Fatmir Memaj.

 

As far as academic aspects are concerned, owing to this agreement many students of this municipality will be granted scholarships. Despite that, both institutions agreed to carry out joint inter-institutional activities.

 

The collaboration agreement expects the implementation of a consortium on behalf of the project “Smart City” and part of the research topic namely, “Index of Urban Sustainability in Kosovo”.
