Online bulling, a great challenge for humanity in the digital age

That’s the reason why the head of the community named “Cyber Security and Privacy”, Mentor Hoxhaj, held in UBT a training with the topic, “Identifying, reaction, and reporting of online bulling”, marked in the framework of Global Day against women violation organized by community of “Cyber Security and Privacy” and strongly supported by UBT.

 

Hoxhaj emphasized that online bulling is a concerning issue due to the fact that bulling has contributed to bringing forth numerous problems and obstacles. Online bulling is frequently taking place on daily basis. “The conversations which are done through emails, messages, or social networks may result in misuse. It’s worth mentioning that bulling has brought forth emotional concerns to teenagers”, stated Hoxhaj.

 

Besides the society is even more endangered by a wide range of mobile applications. In addition, the CSP researcher gave detailed information regarding this issue.

He added that approaching to several local applications requires personal and private data including photos, contact lists, locations and so on and so forth. Those data may be easily misused by wrongdoers. Whereas as far as he is concerned a similar system is applied on adverts which are appear in TV on daily basis.

The mobile applications display adverts on screen based on our interests, and gain financial benefits from our clicks. We usually offer a free of charge version but the interested parties have to pay in advance for other versions”, said Kryeziu.

 

Meanwhile the other researcher of CSP Endrit Vula claimed that hackers ought to have access on the private date of internet users and even endangering the institutions of our country. In addition he recommended the browsing of secure sites such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox etc.

“Indeed the internet is used for many purposes and is a multifaceted process in its depth. There are specific cases when people who are commonly referred to as hackers are capable of having access in numerous institutions by utilizing several methods. Indeed, financial institutions are highly risked by them”, claimed Vula.
