European Commission’s Projects Provided Big Opportunities to UBT Students

Recently, the UBT has benefited from yet another project of the European Commission as part of the Erasmus-Mundus programs, which offers huge opportunities to the UBT students to study abroad and gain professional training, exchange of teaching staff, and provision of new experiences from the prestigious international institutions and universities.

The UBT has continuously benefited from the higher education projects of the European Commission and in most of the cases it was the only beneficiary institution of these projects from the Republic of Kosovo.

Earlier this year, the UBT benefited from international projects of scholarships, mobility, and exchange and transfer of knowledge for the UBT students and staff.  The UBT was declared the winner of the European Commission’s “Erasmus+ Program – Capacity Building in Higher Education.”

The UBT has also benefited from of the European Commission’s Erasmus+ Program on Mobility Grants.  This project provides huge opportunities to the UBT students and academic staff by creating institutional channels and sustainable networks of cooperation.  More specifically, this project provides opportunities for an exchange of students and academic staff between the UBT and the Hungary’s Corvinus University and guarantees the transfer of the ECTs meaning that our programs are equivalent and recognized by the European universities. 

Another incentive for the UBT students is the fact that the UBT is part of the Central European Exchange Program for University Studies (CEEPUS).  CEEPUS includes countries of the Central and Southeastern Europe and it is a university network offering programs and joint diplomas for the students of member institutions.  The UBT is part of this network with three programs on students’ mobility. thus becoming the first private institution of higher education in Kosovo to offer this opportunity for its students. 

 

These and other international programs, part of which the UBT is, provide to its students huge opportunities. Being part of the UBT, the students will have a chance of completing one or more semesters in one of the UBT’s partner universities all over Europe and benefit from eminent professors and modern experiences of studying and research.
