Dr. Nehat Ramadani’s Book on Marketing Launched At UBT
18/03/2015A book on marketing (“Marketingu”) of the author Nehat Ramadani, who is professor at the UBT, was launched at the UBT today. The book, which is part of the series of the UBT publications, was highly evaluated by UBT Rector Dr. Edmond Hajrizi. Hajrizi said the publication of the book was a response to the challenges of the lack of professional books in Albanian.
“This book is part of the publications that will help the students in their academic studies. The book also is a response to the challenge that the students face as a result of the lack of literature. It is a book different from all the others, with a new content, and a new approach,” Hajrizi said.
Rector Hajrizi noted that with this book and others that will be published in the future, the UBT is increasing the publishing activity. He advised that books of a high importance would be published in the future.
Nehat Ramadani, author of the “Marketingu” book, thanked the UBT for the support in publishing his book. He said the publication was dedicated mainly to the students of business and economy, but also other programs as well as the representatives of the businesses who, as he put it need to change their approach toward the marketing.
“The book is an advantage to the students and by all means the businesses as well because it includes the experiences from over 100 world, regional, and local companies,” said Dr. Ramadani. Commenting on the topic that the books treats, he said the development of technology has significantly affected marketing, advising the companies to understand the global challenges.
Ylber Limani, Dean of the Faculty of Management, Business, and Economy at the UBT, said the cooperation between the institutions and professors is indispensable in order to have high quality publications. He highly evaluated the work of professor Ramadani, saying that his book comes as a big support for the students as a significant contribution to the marketing literature.
A big number of the UBT students attended the book launch. During a debate with the author, they said they were looking forward to having such a publication in Albanian which offers a lot of information for them, by bringing examples of major companies, which is of a huge interest to the students.
Dr. Nehat Ramadani’s book Marketing has 335 pages, divided into 11 chapters. It is a publication of the UBT.
