UBT Signs Cooperation Agreement With “Luigj Gurakuqi” University of Shkodra

UBT Rector Professor Dr. Edmond Hajrizi has visited the Luigj Gurakuqi University of Shkodra where he was received by the leaders of this university.  A cooperation agreement between the UBT and the Luigj Gurakuqi University was signed on this occasion.  The agreement provides for cooperation in many areas, including in the students’ and staff mobility and joint workshops in different fields of scientific research. 

 

Dr. Hajrizi, who is an expert in the field of security of quality and accreditation of universities, chaired a workshop “Institutional Standards and Relations of Internal Evaluations of Quality Programs at Two Level of University Studies.”  Representatives of the Luigj Gurakuqi University, professors, and students attended the event. 

The UBT Rector, who is also licensed by the international institutions on a number of training areas, presented the experiences of the quality evaluation in the UBT and in the Republic of Kosovo in general, and also pointed out to the experiences of international institutions of higher education in this field.  Participants of the workshop, who benefited from Rector’s Hajrizi’s lecturing, addressed many issues of interest in the field of the quality assessment of academic programs.

Leaders of the Luigj Gurakuqi University expressed their satisfaction for the expertise presented there and highly evaluated the agreement with the UBT, a leading institution in many areas of education and scientific research not only in Kosovo but wider.

 

The UBT and the “Luigj Gurakuqi” University of Shkodra agreed to organize this year a joint scholarly conference in the city of Shkodra.  While in Shkodra, Rector Hajrizi also gave interviews to the Top Channel and Start Plus televisions.
