Rector Hajrizi meets with MIT students, delivers an inspiring lecture on smart and sustainable cities
01/04/2024The Rector of UBT, Prof. Dr. Edmond Hajrizi, held an inspiring and constructive meeting in front of an auditorium filled with professors, students, and alumni of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the United States, organized by the Albanian Student Association at MIT. During this meeting, Rector Hajrizi delivered an engaging lecture on the topic: “Smart Sustainable Small Scale City.”
In his lecture, he emphasized the importance of the concept of smart and sustainable cities, sharing experiences and practices implemented in the ecosystem of UBT’s Smart City. He provided an overview of the most innovative laboratories, study halls, library, technology hubs, and other elements that make UBT a perfect model of a smart and sustainable city in Kosovo and beyond.
This meeting served as an important platform for students to be inspired and to understand the challenges and opportunities of smart cities, as well as to share their thoughts and ideas in this regard.
