Aims and Objectives

The Master’s Program in Health and Physical Activity responds to the mission of UBT, which is designed to contribute to the advancement of the country in research and education in accordance with European standards and to form qualified professionals able to respond to social needs in different countries, for the fields of human and health studies, socio-economic development, medicine, and prevention.

 

 The aim of this master’s program will be to develop a higher professional profile, suitable to address the complexity of health and well-being in a comprehensive approach, and the fundamental role that sport and lifestyle can have in strengthening personal balance, homeostasis, and immune response, thus affecting the reduction of the impact of risk factors for health and the development of infections, inflammatory processes and chronic disorders. The program will introduce protocols adapted to different ages, diseases, or other individual conditions, to promote social integration, conflict mediation, crisis management, or otherwise contribute to social cohesion and resilience and aid recovery in case of emergencies or natural disasters.
